Rathsallagh Golf Club
A lot is happening at Rathsallagh. The membership is building, the Mens and Ladies Committees have a head of steam and there are exciting plans for the course which has been returned to its former glory. Visitors are amazed at its condition.
The new Captains are Paul Mullen and Liz Matthews, both former captains and very committed to the development of the club. The Top Golfer Tour will hold its Playoff finals with us on September 15 and our Ladies “Get into golf” campaign will kick off in April. With wise counsel from Bernard Gibbons, there are plans to change the whole order of play on the course and to do away with the long walk between the existing first and second by introducing a new Par 3.
New caterers started last weekend and are expected to lift the standards to a higher plane. Mary Byrne catered at Malahide Castle for 8 years as well as 3 year spells at the Writers Museum in Parnell Square and Newbridge House, Donabate. Rathsallagh is a major new departure for her team. Other activities are underway with Yoga and Pilates for Golfers starting this month and some discrete off road biking in the woods for the more energetic.
Membership fees are very competitive and there’s a package to suit every need. We look forward to welcoming you back.
